p.s. Hey. ** Dominik, Hi!!! Thank you! I think it went very well. No technical glitches. Tons of people, very good responses. People seemed to think it was very strange and fun, which was the goal. We were happy. Zac’s and my film producer and his rich donor people didn’t seem to like it or seemed to think it was too weird or something, which may be a problem, we’ll see. But yeah. I’ll try to take a screen grab of the evil teen in his outfit, which looked kind of gothy-meets-Karl Lagerfeld. Hopefully there’ll be a way for you to see it at some point soonish. Your love seemed to work perfectly, so much thanks. Love falling asleep on the metro and waking up at the Shibuya stop in Tokyo with a million euros stuffed in his pockets, G. ** David, Well, that explains everything about Doctor Robert. Mystery solved. Based on the sample I heard of the audio version of ‘I Wished’ I’m pretending it doesn’t exist. Lydon’s always raucous for better or worse, so, yeah, fun. Have fun. ** Misanthrope, Hey, G. Cool, I hoped Rigby would find out I unearthed his thingeroony. Yeah, I mean, outpatient treatment seems like a doomed enterprise with him, but my hopes galore. Nice about your friend’s daughter’s star turn. That’ll be sweet. Maybe ‘The French Dispatch’ will go viral and reach the artless theatres. His second to last one kind of did. ** Bill, Hi. Thanks. Yeah, we’ll try to get the Haunt out there, I don’t know how yet. You didn’t break anything, right? Surely not. ** _Black_Acrylic, Thanks, Ben. It seemed to pay off. Sweet about the finished story. I hope it goes down a storm. How did it go? ** David Ehrenstein, Fat? ** T, Thank you, T. I think it sent well. It seemed to. We were pleased. Although, as I said above, the film money people did not appear to have been amused, as far as we could tell. Snooty types, it seems. BSJ is a very worthy read, I concur with Rigby101. What’s news with youse? Ha, I’ll take that Thursday. Nice one. I hope your Thursday looks and feels exactly like this. ** Rafe, Hi, Rafe. Yeah, he’s good. A sharp cookie. Well, of course straying from the prompts is where the great stuff happens, and I wish more educators encouraged that, but it’s good to know that you find meeting the requirements hard, at least in my opinion. Oh, wow, charcoal face, I feel like I know exactly what class leaves that kind of dirt. Mess with everything respectfully today. ** Steve Erickson, Hi. Thanks, it went well, I think. Hm, I’m not sure if it was filmed. Photographed for sure. But we have the file of the Haunt/game at least. No, I didn’t see that about JPEGMAFIA, but it seemed like a very bad idea for him to go to major label, so that’s a relief. ** Jeff J, Thanks, man. We feel satisfied, and the Haunt/game played flawlessly without any glitches, and that was a big concern going in. No, I don’t think I’ve seen his films. Huh, I’ll try to rectify that. Yes, I look forward to seeing you in just a large handful of hours from now! ** Right. Today’s Halloween offer is this resuscitated oldie wherein the foundations of 28 ghosts are revealed to the world. See you tomorrow.

Hey Dennis thanks hope your presentation went ok… sounds a blast actually!! I got the co-video… two lines showed up on the little ‘schizophrenia’ test… the “have you got it?” “yep there’s two of you” thing… will keep taking tests till there’s just one of me…. throat is crap I’m sneezing occasionally apart from that I’m feeling way better… (like you give a shit!! ha!!!) annoying as I’ve had both injections…. here is a poem I wrote to tie-in with this halloweeny post of ghosts…. called ‘The audition’) xx

She scraped her heels along the concrete without lifting her feet, kangaroo meat, watching the mirror, bend in the heat, a warped repeat, a little something crawled up her leg and into her pouch, her laddered stockings followed suit to the casting couch, an ugly frown, tears of a clown, tie me down, bondage gear, no fear, lost and found, amphetamine pills, over the hill, through the mill, smoky gills, no added frills, old photo stills, a fat cigar, covered in tar, spread on a car, a horizontal bar, a porno star, swigging a jar, tawdry, ripped, destroying the script with collagen lips, husking the grime, grinding the lines, way out of time, zealous blue eyes, those overactive thighs, always got a rise, the roving hands of a slob, a salivating gob, “you’ve got the job!”

These images do remind me somewhat of Dexter Dalwood paintings that often portray the sites of famous tragedies, Kurt Cobain’s Greenhouse for instance. I would definitely like to see Andre the Giant’s final resting place captured by him for posterity.

Happy to hear the Haunt/game thing went down so well! The initial feedback for my Startup Wars story was likewise pretty good, although it could still use a bit of work. Should get more info later this evening at the actual Zoom class, and I look forward to it.

    Hi!!

Dennis, I’m so, so happy to hear that everything went down smoothly, and the Haunt was a success! Congratulations!! I hope the potential donors will come around; I mean, I don’t really understand how anybody can expect a virtual haunt NOT to be weird. I’d be thrilled to see any tiny moment of the final project, with the gothy-meets-Karl Lagerfeld evil teen leading the list!

Huh, love’s lucky as fuck! I don’t even want to imagine what I’d buy with that amount of money in Tokyo, haha. Thank you! Love trying to summon the ghost of Wolfgang Abel and Mario Furlan’s heartbreaking, beautiful victim but failing miserably because his hands are shaking and his mouth is too dry to speak, Od.

P.S. Anita’s home for the weekend, so I won’t be around tomorrow, only on Saturday or Sunday.

Speaking of ghosts, are you still in touch with Roger Clarke?

My review of Rebecca Hall’s PASSING came out today: https://www.gaycitynews.com/39902-2/

I’m leaving for my parents’ house tomorrow. I wish I wasn’t still struggling with depression, but I’m looking forward to seeing them again. I have 10 movies downloaded on my hard drive, so I hope to get through some of them while there.

Have you read about the illegal-but-tolerated psychedelic mushroom dispensaries in Canada? Didn’t they have that in Amsterdam until recently? I wonder who long it’ll take for them to pop up in NYC.

DDDDDennis!! Congrats on Bourse gig. I’m suffering major FOMO! Look FORWARD to experiencing it somehow somewhere someway. Rad post today! I knew Darby Crash was buried in Culver City (Holy Cross Cemetery, right down the street from me), but I didn’t know he grew up here too. And went to University HS, just a couple years after me. FYI: Rad artist and pal Brendan Lott’s show at Walter Maciel Gallery opens Sat Nov. 6 (also Culver City!!) . It’s stunner stuff & documented in gorgeous new book for which i wrote the FOREWORD !!! Link to book here: http://www.brendanlott.com/book/safer-at-home… Luvz….
