Well, I guess the problem is that they want a whole lot of money, and they want to feel sure they will make it, so they don’t look at something that’s original and fresh and think, ‘Let’s figure out how to make a lot of people want to see this’, but rather ‘This’ll be an easy sell.’ And they’re so often wrong.
